| Application Notes / Precautions | For DNA precipitation, use 0.6–1.0 volumes of isopropanol per volume of aqueous DNA solution. Precipitate at room temperature for 10–15 minutes. Wash pellet with 70% ethanol (not included). For RNA precipitation, use 1 volume isopropanol with 0.1 volume 3 M sodium acetate, pH 5.2. Do not use near open flames; work in a well-ventilated area. |
