Product Name Super Reverse Transcriptase (200 U/μL)
Catalog No. IVDRM-0243
Description This product is a new-generation reverse transcriptase obtained by directed evolution of M-MLV reverse transcriptase using a proprietary enzyme engineering platform. The enzyme lacks RNase H activity, and its thermostability is greatly improved, tolerating reaction temperatures of up to 70 °C. It is highly suitable for efficient reverse transcription of RNA templates with complex secondary structures.
Intended Use Raw material enzyme for in vitro diagnostic reagent development, particularly high-temperature reverse transcription and RT-LAMP (isothermal amplification) applications.
Principle / Technology Directed evolution of M-MLV reverse transcriptase yields an RNase H-deficient enzyme with greatly enhanced thermostability, enabling reverse transcription at temperatures up to 70 °C.
Detection Method Reverse transcription coupled with PCR or isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP)
Sample Type RNA templates, including RNA with complex secondary structures
Performance Range / Specifications Supports reverse transcription at up to 70 °C.
Suitable for high-temperature RT-LAMP reactions.
Reaction Conditions / Protocol Reverse transcription can be performed at elevated temperatures up to 70 °C, helping to resolve RNA templates with complex secondary structures.
Components / Formulation RNase H-deficient thermostable reverse transcriptase supplied at 200 U/uL.
Storage Conditions Store at -25 to -15 °C.
Shelf Life 18 months
Package Specifications 10000 U; 50000 U
Product Form Liquid enzyme solution, 200 U/uL
Concentration 200 U/uL
Source / Origin Recombinant enzyme obtained by directed evolution of M-MLV (Moloney murine leukemia virus) reverse transcriptase
Expiration Date / Stability Stable for 18 months at -25 to -15 °C.
Compatibility Compatible with high-temperature RT-LAMP and other isothermal amplification workflows.
Application Notes / Precautions Lacks RNase H activity, preserving RNA templates during cDNA synthesis; high reaction temperatures (up to 70 °C) are recommended for RNA templates with stable secondary structures.
Heat Inactivation Highly thermostable enzyme; supports reverse transcription at reaction temperatures up to 70 °C.
