| Product Name | Recombinant DNase I, E. coli Expressed, RNase-Free |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0432 |
| Description | This recombinant deoxyribonuclease I, expressed in Escherichia coli, hydrolyses phosphodiester bonds in single and double stranded DNA and releases oligodeoxynucleotides carrying 5 prime phosphate and 3 prime hydroxyl groups. Incubation at 37°C degrades DNA quickly and efficiently, and the enzyme acts on ssDNA, dsDNA, chromatin and DNA-RNA hybrids while leaving RNA untouched. Verified RNase-free, it supports DNA contamination removal during RNA extraction, template elimination after in vitro transcription and rRNA removal in RNA library construction. Optimal activity lies at pH 7 to 8, depends on calcium ions and can be stimulated by cobalt, manganese and zinc ions. |
