| Description | This enzyme is a new-generation reverse transcriptase obtained by genetic engineering on the basis of a second-generation RNase H-deficient M-MLV reverse transcriptase. Compared with the previous generation, it offers faster cDNA synthesis and greatly improved thermostability, tolerating reaction temperatures up to 65 °C, which makes it suitable for reverse transcription of RNA templates with complex secondary structures. The enzyme also exhibits enhanced template affinity, making it highly suitable for small amounts of template and low-copy genes. Its full-length cDNA synthesis capability is improved, enabling amplification of cDNA up to 19.8 kb. |
