| Intended Use | Fusion-tag removal and processing of insulin analogs, GLP-1 products and recombinant peptides, including workflows that combine Kex2 protease with carboxypeptidase B. |
| Principle / Technology | The enzyme recognizes dibasic sequences such as Arg-Arg and Lys-Arg and cleaves the peptide bond on the carboxyl side. It does not cleave after a single basic residue and is not inhibited by aprotinin, PMSF or TPCK. |
