| Description | This recombinant D-amino acid oxidase (DAAO) is supplied as a purified enzyme solution. DAAO is a flavoenzyme that catalyzes the oxidative deamination of D-amino acids, producing corresponding alpha-keto acids, ammonia, and hydrogen peroxide. The enzyme has an apparent molecular weight of approximately 41 kDa as determined by SDS-PAGE, with a purity of at least 90%. It is formulated in Tris buffer at pH 8.0 and supplied in 1 mg aliquots. This product is suitable for enzymatic research and diagnostic applications requiring D-amino acid oxidation activity. |
