Description A recombinant rapid-digestion restriction endonuclease formulated for efficient cleavage of genomic DNA, plasmid DNA and PCR products in a universal buffer system.

Application Notes / Precautions When the colored buffer is used, the reaction can be loaded directly onto an agarose gel. The red tracking dye migrates near a 2,500 bp double-stranded DNA fragment in 1% agarose, while the yellow dye migrates near a 10 bp fragment.
Recognition Sequence / Cleavage Site 5′-G/AATTC-3′; generates a 5′ AATT overhang.
