| Product Name | Lyophilized Bst Plus DNA Polymerase (60 U/μL, Glycerol-Free) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0269 |
| Description | Bst Plus DNA Polymerase is derived from Bacillus stearothermophilus DNA Polymerase I and genetically engineered to remove its 5'→3' exonuclease activity while retaining 5'→3' DNA polymerase activity and strong strand-displacement activity. Compared with wild-type Bst DNA polymerase, the enzyme shows substantially improved amplification speed, yield, salt tolerance, and thermostability, together with added dUTP tolerance, making it highly suitable for isothermal amplification reactions such as LAMP. This product is a lyophilized powder of the glycerol-free enzyme, resolving the instability of glycerol-free formulations and enabling the manufacture of freeze-dried products. |
| Intended Use | For isothermal amplification applications such as loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP); suitable for the development and manufacture of lyophilized isothermal amplification reagents. |
| Principle / Technology | Engineered Bst DNA polymerase lacking 5'→3' exonuclease activity, with 5'→3' polymerase activity and strong strand-displacement activity, enabling isothermal DNA amplification (e.g., LAMP) without thermal cycling. |
| Detection Method | Isothermal amplification (LAMP and related methods) |
| Sample Type | DNA templates for isothermal amplification |
| Performance Range / Specifications | Lyophilized cake shows no deliquescence within 1 year; performance consistent with the liquid reagent Positive detection rate of 95% Improved amplification speed, yield, salt tolerance, and thermostability versus wild-type Bst DNA polymerase dUTP tolerant |
| Sensitivity / LOD | Positive detection rate of 95% |
| Reaction Conditions / Protocol | Isothermal amplification at 65°C (unit definition conditions: 65°C, 30 min); heat inactivation at 85°C for 5 min. |
