| Product Name | Hot-Start E-Taq DNA Polymerase (5 U/μL, Glycerol-Free) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0264 |
| Description | This hot-start DNA polymerase employs a proprietary dual-antibody double-blocking mechanism. Both the 5'→3' polymerase activity and the 5'→3' exonuclease activity of Taq DNA polymerase are blocked at low temperatures; upon heating at the pre-denaturation temperature for 30 sec, the blocking antibodies are completely inactivated, releasing both polymerase and exonuclease activities. The double-blocking feature not only effectively prevents non-specific amplification caused by mis-priming or primer dimers, but also suppresses fluorescence signal decay caused by probe degradation, providing dual protection that keeps in vitro diagnostic reagents more stable during transport and room-temperature handling. The product contains no glycerol and is specifically designed for the preparation of lyophilized reagents. |
| Intended Use | Preparation of lyophilized PCR/qPCR reagents; high-sensitivity detection of low-copy-number targets; hot-start PCR and probe-based qPCR assay development. |
| Principle / Technology | Dual-antibody hot start. Two proprietary monoclonal antibodies simultaneously block the 5'→3' polymerase and 5'→3' exonuclease activities of Taq DNA polymerase at low temperatures, preventing mis-priming, primer-dimer formation and probe degradation before the reaction starts. Heating at the pre-denaturation temperature for 30 sec fully inactivates both antibodies, releasing polymerase and exonuclease activities for amplification. |
