Description A glycerol-free murine RNase inhibitor with high-temperature tolerance, strong antioxidant properties and compatibility with freeze-dried reagent development.
Intended Use Protection of RNA during RT-qPCR, RT-LAMP, cDNA synthesis and other RNase-sensitive workflows.
Principle / Technology The inhibitor binds RNase A-family enzymes and limits RNA degradation. The murine protein lacks two oxidation-sensitive cysteine residues found in the human inhibitor, reducing dependence on reducing agents.
Detection Method Used as a protective component in RNA-based molecular assays.
