Product Name Fast Restriction Enzyme TseI (ApeKI) (Recognition Site: G/CWGC)
Catalog No. IVDRM-0092
Description This fast restriction enzyme is a recombinant enzyme produced through genetic engineering. It precisely cleaves DNA within 5-15 minutes and is ideal for rapid digestion of plasmid DNA, PCR products, and genomic DNA. All enzymes in this fast digestion series share a single universal buffer, which greatly simplifies reaction setup. In addition, the enzyme offers ample activity redundancy, making it easy to digest excess substrate or difficult templates.
Intended Use For rapid digestion of plasmid DNA, PCR products, and genomic DNA in molecular cloning and related molecular biology workflows.
Principle / Technology Recombinant type II restriction endonuclease produced by genetic engineering. It recognizes a specific double-stranded DNA sequence and completes precise cleavage within 5-15 minutes.
Sample Type Plasmid DNA, PCR products, genomic DNA
Performance Range / Specifications Recognition site: 5'-G↓CWGC-3' / 3'-CGWC↑G-5'
Enzyme activity: 10 U/μL
Recommended reaction conditions: 1× universal fast digestion buffer; incubate at 65°C
Heat inactivation: 80°C for 20 min
Isoschizomer: ApeKI
Methylation sensitivity: CpG methylation blocks cleavage
Specificity Specifically recognizes and cleaves the sequence 5'-G↓CWGC-3'. Cleavage is blocked by CpG methylation.
