Product Name Fast Restriction Enzyme StuI (Recognition Site: 5'-AGG↓CCT-3')
Catalog No. IVDRM-0083
Description Alta DiagnoTech's fast restriction enzymes are recombinant endonucleases produced by genetic engineering. They deliver precise DNA cleavage within 5–15 minutes and are ideal for rapid digestion of plasmid DNA, PCR products, and genomic DNA. All fast restriction enzymes in this series share a single universal digestion buffer, which greatly simplifies reaction setup, and their generous activity redundancy makes it easy to digest excess substrate or difficult templates.
Intended Use For rapid restriction digestion of plasmid DNA, PCR products, and genomic DNA in molecular cloning and related molecular biology workflows.
Principle / Technology Recombinant type II restriction endonuclease produced by genetic engineering. The enzyme recognizes a specific DNA sequence and cleaves both strands at defined positions, completing accurate digestion within 5–15 minutes.
Sample Type Plasmid DNA, PCR products, genomic DNA
Performance Range / Specifications Complete, precise DNA digestion within 5–15 min
Enzyme activity: 10 U/μL
High activity redundancy for excess substrate or difficult templates
Specificity Specifically recognizes and cleaves the sequence 5'-AGG↓CCT-3'.
Reaction Conditions / Protocol Recommended reaction conditions: 1× universal fast digestion buffer; optimal incubation at 37°C for 5–15 min.
Storage Conditions Store at -25 to -15°C.
Shelf Life 2 years when stored at -25 to -15°C.
Package Specifications 100 T (100 reactions)

Recommended Buffer System This fast restriction enzyme series shares one universal fast digestion buffer. Reactions are performed in 1× universal fast digestion buffer, allowing streamlined single-enzyme and multi-enzyme digestions.
Application Notes / Precautions StuI generates blunt ends.
Dcm and EcoBI methylation sites may overlap with the recognition sequence and may impair cleavage.
Heat inactivation: 80°C for 20 min.
Recognition Site 5'-AGG↓CCT-3'
3'-TCC↑GGA-5'
Heat Inactivation Incubate at 80°C for 20 min.
Methylation Sensitivity Dcm and EcoBI methylation: sites may overlap with the recognition sequence and cleavage may be affected.
