Product Name Fast Restriction Enzyme SnaBI (Recognition Site: TACGTA)
Catalog No. IVDRM-0087
Description Fast Restriction Enzyme SnaBI is a recombinant restriction endonuclease engineered for rapid, highly precise DNA cleavage, completing digestion within 5-15 minutes. It is ideal for fast cutting of plasmid DNA, PCR products, and genomic DNA. All fast restriction enzymes in this series share one universal digestion buffer, which greatly simplifies reaction setup, and their generous activity reserve allows effortless digestion of excess substrate or difficult templates.
Intended Use For rapid, precise digestion of plasmid DNA, PCR products, and genomic DNA in molecular cloning and other molecular biology workflows. For research use.
Principle / Technology Recombinant fast restriction endonuclease produced by genetic engineering. It recognizes a specific double-stranded DNA sequence and cleaves both strands at defined positions, completing accurate digestion within 5-15 minutes.
Sample Type Plasmid DNA, PCR products, genomic DNA
Performance Range / Specifications Complete digestion within 5-15 minutes; high activity reserve readily handles excess substrate or difficult templates.
Specificity Recognizes the palindromic sequence 5'-TACGTA-3' and cleaves at the center of the site, generating blunt ends.
Reaction Conditions / Protocol 1× universal fast digestion buffer; incubate at 37°C. Digestion is typically complete within 5-15 minutes.
Storage Conditions Store at -25°C to -15°C.
Shelf Life 2 years when stored at -25°C to -15°C.
Package Specifications 60 T
Concentration 20 U/μL
Activity / Unit Definition 20 U/μL
Source / Origin Recombinant expression (genetically engineered).
Expiration Date / Stability Stable for 2 years when stored at -25°C to -15°C.
Compatibility Isoschizomers: SbfI, Sse8387I
Recommended Buffer System All fast restriction enzymes in this series share a single universal digestion buffer, which simplifies reaction setup.
Application Notes / Precautions Cleavage occurs at the center of the recognition site (TAC↓GTA), producing blunt-ended fragments.
CpG methylation blocks cleavage; avoid CpG-methylated templates when digestion at this site is required.
Recognition Site 5'-TAC↓GTA-3'
3'-ATG↑CAT-5'
Heat Inactivation 80°C for 20 min.
Methylation Sensitivity CpG methylation: cleavage blocked.
Dam, Dcm, EcoKI, EcoBI methylation: no effect.

For research use only, not for clinical use.
