Product Name ATP-Dependent Recombinant dsRNA Ligase for Modified siRNA Nick Sealing
Catalog No. IEC-HMM-0186
Description Alta DiagnoTech double-stranded RNA ligase is a directed-evolution recombinant enzyme with enhanced ligation activity and no stated RNA endonuclease or exonuclease contamination.
Intended Use For joining 3'-hydroxyl and 5'-phosphate termini at nicks between double-stranded RNA molecules, including modified siRNA fragments.
Principle / Technology The enzyme consumes ATP to form an enzyme-AMP intermediate, transfers AMP to the 5'-phosphate at the nick and catalyzes formation of a 3'-5' phosphodiester bond.
Storage Conditions Store at -25°C to -15°C.
Shelf Life 12 months
Package Specifications 100 µL and 1 mL
Product Form Liquid enzyme
Source / Origin Recombinant expression in Escherichia coli
Alias Double-Stranded RNA Ligase
Product Type ATP-dependent dsRNA ligase
Function / Efficacy Seals nicks in double-stranded RNA and supports ligation of differently modified siRNA sequences.
