Description Alta DiagnoTech Bst DNA polymerase V2 is derived from Bacillus stearothermophilus DNA polymerase I and retains strong strand-displacement activity without 5'-to-3' exonuclease activity.
Intended Use For DNA strand-displacement reactions, loop-mediated isothermal amplification and rapid sequencing.
Principle / Technology The enzyme provides 5'-to-3' DNA polymerase activity and strong strand displacement while lacking 5'-to-3' exonuclease activity.
Components / Formulation The enzyme is supplied at 8 U/µL with 10× Bst V2 buffer and 100 mM magnesium sulfate. The 1,600 U format contains 0.2 mL enzyme, 1.5 mL buffer and 1.5 mL magnesium sulfate; the 8,000 U format contains 1 mL enzyme, 2 × 1.5 mL buffer and 2 × 1.5 mL magnesium sulfate; the 80,000 U format contains 10 mL enzyme, 3 × 10 mL buffer and 2 × 10 mL magnesium sulfate.
Storage Conditions Store at -25°C to -15°C.
