Product Name >=50 U/mg Glucose Dehydrogenase for NADP-Coupled Glucose Assays
Catalog No. IEC-HMM-0193
Description Alta DiagnoTech glucose dehydrogenase is a white amorphous powder for blood-glucose test-strip raw materials and NADP-coupled glucose measurement.
Intended Use Enzyme raw material for blood glucose test strips and glucose assay development.
Detection Method Kinetic absorbance measurement of NADH formation at 340 nm
Performance Range / Specifications Specific activity >=50 U/mg; assay linear range 100-1,000 U/L; recommended sample range 200-700 U/L.
Reaction Conditions / Protocol Prepare Reagent 1 by dissolving 1.211 g Tris and 26 g glucose in 50 mL deionized water, adjust to pH 7.55 at 25 degrees C with HCl and bring to 100 mL. Prepare Reagent 2 by dissolving 2.0 g NADP disodium salt in 40 mL water and bringing to 50 mL. Combine 1.00 mL Reagent 1 with 0.040 mL enzyme solution, preincubate for 60 seconds at 37 degrees C, add 0.200 mL Reagent 2, react for 1 minute and measure the 1-minute absorbance-change rate at 340 nm. Activity in U/L equals Delta A/min x 4,980 x dilution factor.
Storage Conditions Store at -20 degrees C
