Product Name >=300 U/mg Low-Activity Alkaline Phosphatase for ALP Calibration
Catalog No. IEC-HMM-0146
Description Alta DiagnoTech low-activity alkaline phosphatase is a colorless to light-red solution intended for ALP calibrator and quality-control preparation.
Intended Use ALP assay calibrator or high-value quality-control material; not recommended for antibody labeling.
Principle / Technology ALP hydrolyzes colorless disodium p-nitrophenyl phosphate to pale-yellow p-nitrophenol, whose formation is monitored photometrically.
Detection Method SFBC kinetic absorbance assay at 405 or 410 nm
Performance Range / Specifications Specific activity is at least 300 U/mg protein, purity is at least 80% by SDS-PAGE and the stated assay range is 0-600 U/L.
Reaction Conditions / Protocol Use R1:sample:R2 at 1,000:20:200, incubate at 37 degrees C for 60 seconds and measure the A405 or A410 increase over the following 120 seconds; stated factor 3,298.
Storage Conditions Store at 2-8 degrees C and avoid freeze-thaw cycles
Shelf Life At least 2 years at 2-8 degrees C
