| Reaction Conditions / Protocol | Incubate 1.0 mL of 0.1 M creatine solution in 500 mM potassium phosphate at pH 7.5 for 5 minutes at 37 degrees C, add 0.1 mL sample and react for 10 minutes. Transfer 0.1 mL reaction mixture to 2.0 mL of 0.5 M NaOH, add 1.0 mL of 1% picric acid, incubate for 20 minutes at 25 degrees C and read at 520 nm against a dilution-buffer blank. |
