| Product Name | 1 U/µL Glycerol-Free Heat-Labile UDG for Lyophilized PCR Systems |
| Catalog No. | IEC-HMM-0206 |
| Description | Alta DiagnoTech glycerol-free heat-labile uracil-DNA glycosylase removes uracil-containing DNA and is formulated for freeze-dried amplification systems. |
| Intended Use | For dUTP-based carryover control in PCR, qPCR, RT-PCR, RT-qPCR, RT-LAMP and lyophilized amplification reagents. |
| Principle / Technology | The enzyme removes uracil from single- or double-stranded DNA to create readily cleaved abasic sites; it has no activity on RNA and becomes inactive above 50°C. |
| Performance Range / Specifications | Completely inactivated above 50°C. |
| Storage Conditions | Store at -25°C to -15°C and limit freeze-thaw exposure to five cycles. |
| Package Specifications | Available in 100 U and 500 U formats. |
| Product Form | Glycerol-free liquid enzyme |
| Concentration | 1 U/µL |
| Source / Origin | Psychrophilic marine bacterium |
| Shipping Conditions | Ship at 0°C or below. |
| Compatibility | Active in most PCR systems and compatible with lyophilization; verify compatibility in new formulations. |
| Application Notes / Precautions | Keep cold during use and wear a lab coat and disposable gloves. |
| Alias | Glycerol-free heat-labile uracil-DNA glycosylase |
| Product Type | Glycerol-free heat-labile uracil-DNA glycosylase |
| Function / Efficacy | Removes dU-containing carryover DNA and supports lyophilized amplification chemistry. |
