Product Name V Multiplex One-Step RT-qPCR Probe Kit
Catalog No. RESK-0095
Description This kit is designed for multiplex quantitative PCR using RNA as the template. Reverse transcription and quantitative PCR are performed in the same reaction tube, simplifying handling and reducing the risk of contamination. A thermostable reverse transcriptase efficiently synthesizes first-strand cDNA, and a hot-start Taq DNA polymerase drives quantitative amplification. The kit contains an optimized MP Buffer and an Enzymes Mix; the buffer already includes Mg2+ and dNTPs, together with factors that effectively suppress non-specific PCR amplification and enhance multiplex qPCR efficiency, enabling up to 4-plex reactions in a single tube while maintaining primer amplification efficiency. The kit is well suited for multiplex detection of RNA viruses and other RNA pathogens.
Intended Use Multiplex probe-based RT-qPCR detection and quantification of RNA targets, including RNA viruses and other RNA pathogens, in research applications.
Principle / Technology One-step probe-based RT-qPCR: a thermostable reverse transcriptase first converts RNA into first-strand cDNA, followed by real-time quantitative amplification by a hot-start Taq DNA polymerase in the same tube. Target-specific hydrolysis probes generate fluorescent signals during amplification. The optimized buffer contains additives that suppress non-specific amplification and improve multiplex qPCR efficiency, supporting up to 4-plex detection.
Detection Method Real-time quantitative PCR with fluorescent hydrolysis probes (probe-based multiplex RT-qPCR)
Sample Type RNA templates, including RNA extracted from viral or other pathogen samples
