| Product Name | RT-LAMP COVID-19 Lyophilized Beads (pH Indicator Method) |
| Catalog No. | RESK-0109 |
| Description | Lyophilized beads containing all components required for RT-LAMP detection of COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2), including buffer, enzymes, primers and a pH-sensitive indicator, prepared as a freeze-dried formulation using lyophilization technology. The buffer contains dATP, dCTP, dGTP and dUTP and other components essential for amplification by Bst II DNA polymerase; the enzyme blend includes glycerol-free Bst II DNA polymerase, UDGase and reverse transcriptase. The reagent delivers high amplification efficiency and sensitivity, and results can be judged by the naked eye: positive reaction wells turn orange-yellow while negative wells remain magenta, providing a strong color contrast. Results are available within 30 minutes, and the lyophilized format allows ambient-temperature transportation, reducing cold-chain costs. |
| Intended Use | Semi-finished research reagent for rapid isothermal detection of COVID-19 / SARS-CoV-2 nucleic acid by RT-LAMP with pH-indicator-based colorimetric readout. For research use only; not for clinical diagnostic use. |
| Principle / Technology | Reverse-transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP): Bst II DNA polymerase amplifies the target at constant temperature while reverse transcriptase converts viral RNA to cDNA. Proton release during amplification lowers the pH, shifting the pH-sensitive indicator from magenta (negative) to orange-yellow (positive) for naked-eye readout. All reaction components are stabilized as lyophilized beads; a UDGase system with dUTP provides carryover contamination control. |
| Detection Method | Colorimetric visual readout by pH-sensitive indicator (positive: orange-yellow; negative: magenta) |
| Sample Type | Extracted RNA samples containing potential SARS-CoV-2 target sequences |
| Performance Range / Specifications | Ambient-temperature transportation supported, reducing cold-chain shipping costs Rapid reaction: results in 30 min High amplification efficiency and sensitivity with clear colorimetric contrast |
| Sensitivity / LOD | High amplification sensitivity (visual colorimetric detection of low-abundance targets); refer to lot-specific validation data. |
| Reaction Conditions / Protocol | Isothermal amplification; results available in 30 min. |
| Components / Formulation | Lyophilized bead containing: Buffer with dATP, dCTP, dGTP and dUTP plus other amplification-essential components Glycerol-free Bst II DNA polymerase UDGase Reverse transcriptase (RT enzyme) RT-LAMP primers pH-sensitive colorimetric indicator |

| Shelf Life | 1 year when stored at room temperature. |
| Package Specifications | 25 T; 100 T |
| Product Form | Lyophilized beads (freeze-dried microspheres) |
| pH Range / Optimal pH | pH-indicator-based readout: amplification-induced acidification shifts the indicator from magenta (negative) to orange-yellow (positive). |
| Shipping Conditions | Can be shipped at room temperature (ambient); no cold chain required. |
| Expiration Date / Stability | Stable for 1 year at room temperature. |
| Regulatory / Compliance | For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. |
| Application Notes / Precautions | For research use only. Interpret results promptly by color change (orange-yellow = positive, magenta = negative). Protect beads from moisture before use; a UDG step helps control carryover contamination. |
For research use only, not for clinical use.
