| Product Name | V Lyo Multiplex One-Step RT-qPCR Kit (with MgCl2, Lyophilizable) |
| Catalog No. | RESK-0104 |
| Description | The V Lyo Multiplex One-Step RT-qPCR Kit (with MgCl2, Lyophilizable) is a reagent kit for multiplex quantitative PCR reactions using RNA as the template, developed for RNA virus and pathogen detection applications. Reverse transcription and quantitative PCR are performed in the same reaction tube, simplifying operation and reducing contamination risk. The unique buffer and enzyme design supports the formulation and product development of lyophilized one-step RT-qPCR reaction systems. First-strand cDNA is efficiently synthesized by a thermostable reverse transcriptase, and quantitative amplification is performed with a hot-start Taq DNA polymerase. The kit contains an optimized lyophilization buffer and an enzyme mix supplemented with factors that suppress nonspecific PCR amplification and enhance multiplex qPCR efficiency, enabling multiplex fluorescent quantitative amplification while maintaining primer amplification efficiency. The enzyme mix is pre-formulated with a lyoprotectant and can be lyophilized directly, with MgCl2 provided as a separate component. |
| Intended Use | Multiplex quantitative detection of RNA targets (e.g., RNA viruses and other RNA pathogens) by one-step probe-based RT-qPCR; designed for the development and production of lyophilized RT-qPCR reagents. |
| Principle / Technology | One-step RT-qPCR: a thermostable reverse transcriptase efficiently synthesizes first-strand cDNA from RNA templates, followed by quantitative amplification with a hot-start Taq DNA polymerase in the same closed tube. The formulation includes factors that inhibit nonspecific PCR amplification and factors that improve multiplex qPCR amplification efficiency. |
| Detection Method | Real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR (probe-based multiplex RT-qPCR) |
| Sample Type | RNA templates |
| Performance Range / Specifications | Performance after lyophilization is identical to that of the liquid reagent, with intact enzyme activity. The lyophilized product remains stable at room temperature, allowing ambient transport and storage. No additional lyoprotectant is required; the reagent can be lyophilized directly, and a reference lyophilization process is provided to support freeze-drying workflow development. Lyophilized powder remains stable after 21 days at 37°C. |
| Specificity | Contains factors that effectively suppress nonspecific PCR amplification while maintaining primer amplification efficiency in multiplex reactions. |
| Reaction Conditions / Protocol | One-step, single-tube protocol: reverse transcription and quantitative PCR are performed in the same reaction tube. MgCl2 is provided separately for flexible reaction optimization. The reagent can be used directly for lyophilization; a reference lyophilization process is available. |
| Components / Formulation | Optimized lyophilization buffer, enzyme mix (thermostable reverse transcriptase plus hot-start Taq DNA polymerase with matched lyoprotectant, ready for direct lyophilization), and MgCl2 supplied as a separate component. |
| Storage Conditions | Store at -25 to -15°C (liquid form). After lyophilization, the product is stable at room temperature. |
| Shelf Life | 1 year when stored at -25 to -15°C. |
| Package Specifications | 100 T 1000 T 10000 T |
| Product Form | Liquid, lyophilizable reagent kit with separate MgCl2 component; enzyme mix contains matched lyoprotectant for direct freeze-drying. |
| Quality Control | Performance verified to be consistent before and after lyophilization; lyophilized powder remains stable after storage at 37°C for 21 days. |
| Shipping Conditions | The lyophilized product can be transported and stored at room temperature. |
| Expiration Date / Stability | Valid for 1 year when stored at -25 to -15°C (liquid form). Lyophilized product remains stable at room temperature and shows stable performance after 21 days at 37°C. |
| Compatibility | Suitable for the formulation and product design of lyophilized one-step RT-qPCR reaction systems; compatible with multiplex fluorescent quantitative amplification. |
| Recommended Buffer System | Optimized lyophilization buffer (included); MgCl2 supplied separately. |
| Application Notes / Precautions | The enzyme mix already contains a matched lyoprotectant and can be lyophilized directly without adding extra lyoprotectant. A reference lyophilization process is provided to facilitate freeze-drying workflow development. Single-tube one-step workflow reduces handling and contamination risk. |
