Product Name RT-LAMP Fluorescent Assay Kit (Bst Plus HSS)
Catalog No. RESK-0120
Description The RT-LAMP Fluorescent Assay Kit (Bst Plus HSS) is a second-generation fluorescent dye-based RT-LAMP kit capable of isothermal amplification from both DNA and RNA templates. It combines a new-generation aptamer-blocked Bst Plus DNA Polymerase, a heat-stable reverse transcriptase (HSS), and murine RNase inhibitor within a finely optimized buffer system, enabling highly efficient, rapid, and specific detection reactions. The kit also supports reaction setup at room temperature.
Intended Use Rapid isothermal amplification and fluorescent detection of DNA and RNA targets for molecular diagnostic reagent development and pathogen testing applications. For research use.
Principle / Technology Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP/RT-LAMP) driven by an aptamer-blocked Bst Plus DNA Polymerase and a heat-stable reverse transcriptase, allowing DNA and RNA templates to be amplified at a constant temperature.
Detection Method Fluorescent dye-based detection. An intercalating fluorescent dye (e.g., SYBR Green or Syto-type dyes) binds double-stranded DNA during amplification, increasing the fluorescence signal 800-1,000-fold; amplification is monitored in real time on a fluorescence quantitative PCR instrument.
Sample Type Extracted DNA or RNA from pathogen samples (e.g., African swine fever virus nucleic acid, influenza B virus controls).
Performance Range / Specifications Versatility: validated with more than 20 animal- and human-related pathogen targets with GC contents of 30%-65%, delivering rapid and consistent time-to-peak.
Stability: performance is unaffected after 20 freeze-thaw cycles or 7 days of accelerated storage at 37 °C; supports reaction setup at room temperature.
Sensitivity / LOD African swine fever virus (ASFV) nucleic acid extracted from real samples: down to 15 copies/reaction.
Influenza B virus quality control material: down to 10 copies/reaction.
Positive detection is defined as a signal peak arising within 30 min.
Specificity Validated across multiple DNA and RNA targets; no non-specific amplification in no-template controls (NTC) within 60 min.
Reaction Conditions / Protocol Isothermal incubation at 60-65 °C on a real-time fluorescence PCR instrument; results are typically available within approximately 30 min. Reaction setup can be performed at room temperature.
