| Product Name | RT-LAMP Dye Assay Kit (UDG Plus) |
| Catalog No. | RESK-0103 |
| Description | The RT-LAMP Dye Assay Kit (UDG Plus) is a first-generation fluorescent dye-based RT-LAMP reagent containing Bst II DNA Polymerase, a thermostable reverse transcriptase, and UDGase, designed for LAMP reactions using RNA as the template. The included UDG enzyme effectively prevents the risk of aerosol (carryover) contamination. Results can be read in approximately 30 min, enabling rapid determination of pathogen infection, and the kit can be paired with microfluidic chips or portable detection devices for fast testing. |
| Intended Use | Rapid detection of RNA pathogens by reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP) with fluorescent dye readout; suitable for laboratory qPCR instruments as well as microfluidic chip and portable detection platforms. |
| Principle / Technology | Reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP): RNA templates are reverse-transcribed by a thermostable reverse transcriptase and amplified isothermally by Bst II DNA Polymerase. UDGase is included to degrade uracil-containing carryover amplicons from previous reactions, effectively preventing aerosol contamination. |
| Detection Method | Fluorescent dye-based real-time detection: a fluorescent dye (e.g., SYBR Green, Syto) serves as the fluorophore and binds double-stranded DNA generated during amplification, enhancing the fluorescence signal 800-1000 fold. Reactions are monitored on a real-time fluorescence qPCR instrument under isothermal conditions at 60-65°C, and results are available in approximately 30 min. |
| Sample Type | RNA templates |
| Performance Range / Specifications | Results in approximately 30 min under isothermal conditions at 60-65°C. Fluorescence signal enhanced 800-1000 fold upon dye binding to double-stranded DNA. Compatible with microfluidic chips and portable detection devices. |
| Reaction Conditions / Protocol | Run reactions on a real-time fluorescence qPCR instrument at a constant temperature of 60-65°C; results can be interpreted from amplification curves after approximately 30 min. |
| Components / Formulation | Part 1: Bst Buffer (protect from light). Part 2: Bst Enzyme Mix (UDG plus), containing Bst II DNA Polymerase, thermostable reverse transcriptase, UDGase, and associated reaction components. |
| Storage Conditions | Part 1 (Bst Buffer): store at -25 to -15°C, protected from light. Part 2 (Bst Enzyme Mix, UDG plus): store at -25 to -15°C. |
| Shelf Life | 6 months when stored at -25 to -15°C. |
| Package Specifications | 100 T 1000 T |
| Product Form | Two-part liquid kit (buffer plus enzyme mix) |
