Product Name RNA Lyophilized Rapid Isothermal Amplification Kit (Basic)
Catalog No. RESK-0125
Description This kit is a molecular biology reagent designed for the rapid, efficient, and specific isothermal amplification of nucleic acid fragments from RNA templates. Supplied as an in-situ lyophilized powder for maximum convenience, it combines reverse transcription with rapid isothermal nucleic acid amplification technology, enabling fast amplification of target sequences under a constant temperature of 39-42 °C. It is widely applicable in life science research, clinical diagnostics, and molecular testing. This is the basic (electrophoresis-type) format, in which amplification products are analyzed by gel electrophoresis.
Intended Use Rapid isothermal amplification of RNA target sequences for life science research, clinical diagnostic development, and molecular detection applications.
Principle / Technology Reverse transcription coupled with recombinase polymerase amplification (RT-RPA). At the reaction temperature, reverse transcriptase uses specific primers and the RNA template to synthesize cDNA strands. The recombinase UvsX anchors to the primers to form recombinase-primer complexes, which recognize homologous target sequences and mediate strand exchange. Single-strand binding protein then binds the displaced single-stranded DNA to form a stable D-loop structure. With the aid of the accessory factor UvsY and a crowding agent, a conformational change in the recombinase-primer complex exposes the primer 3' ends; DNA polymerase binds and initiates extension, and both upstream and downstream primers drive simultaneous amplification to generate double-stranded products.
