| Product Name | Human Platelet Derived Growth Factor D (PDGFD) ELISA Kit |
| Catalog No. | PAK-HMM-0025 |
| Description | Platelet-derived growth factor D (PDGFD) is a protein that is encoded by the PDGFD gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the platelet-derived growth factor family. Four members of this family are mitogenic factors of mesenchymal origin cells and are characterized by a core pattern of eight cysteines, seven of which are found in this factor. The gene product forms only homodimers and, therefore, does not dimerize with the other three family members. It differs from the alpha and beta members of the family by having an unusual N-terminal structural domain, the CUB structural domain. Two splice variants of this gene have been identified. |
| Test Species | Human |
| Synonyms | PDGF-D; IEGF; SCDGF-B; Spinal Cord Derived Growth Factor B; Iris-expressed growth factor; Platelet-derived growth factor D, receptor-binding form/latent form |
| Applications | The kit detects human PDGFD in samples without significant cross-reactivity with its analogs. |

| Detection Methods | Sandwich ELISA |
| Sensitivity | 0.23 ng/mL |
| Detection Range | 0.46-30 ng/mL |
| Accuracy | The intraplate coefficient of variation is less than 10% and the interplate coefficient of variation is less than 10%. |
| Storage | 2-8°C |
| Shelf Life | 6 months |
| Detection Principle | The kit is based on double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). To the microtiter wells pre-coated with human platelet-derived growth factor D (PDGFD) capture antibody, the sample, standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody, and HRP enzyme conjugate are added sequentially, and then incubated and washed, and then the color is developed with the substrate TMB, which is catalyzed by HRP to turn into blue color, and then converted into yellow color under the effect of acid. The color is positively correlated with the amount of human platelet-derived growth factor D (PDGFD) in the sample. The absorbance (OD) is measured at 450 nm by an enzyme counter and the concentration is calculated. |
