| Product Name | Human Platelet Derived Growth Factor AA (PDGFAA) ELISA Kit |
| Catalog No. | PAK-HMM-0021 |
| Description | Platelet-derived growth factor AA (PDGFAA) is a widely expressed protein that forms a disulfide-bonded homodimer or heterodimer with PDGF-B. PDGF-AA is expressed by monocytes, macrophages, fibroblasts, vascular smooth muscle cells and vascular endothelial cells. It acts primarily as a chelator and inducer of protein synthesis in a variety of cell types. It binds and signals through a homodimer of the receptor tyrosine kinase PDGF R alpha, which itself binds to FGF R1 and Neuropilin-1. In addition, PDGF-AA signals through heterodimers of PDGF R alpha and PDGF R beta. |

| Detection Principle | The kit is based on enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) using double antibody sandwich method. To the microtiter wells pre-coated with human platelet-derived growth factor AA (PDGFAA) capture antibody, the sample, standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP enzyme conjugate are added sequentially, with warming and washing in between, and the color is developed with the substrate TMB, which is converted to blue color catalyzed by the enzyme peroxidase (HRP), and then converted to the final yellow color under the action of acid. The shade of color is positively correlated with human platelet-derived growth factor AA (PDGFAA) in the sample. The absorbance (OD value) is measured at 450nm wavelength with an enzyme marker to calculate the concentration of the sample. |
