| Product Name | Rat Platelet/Endothelial Cell Adhesion Molecule (PECAM1;CD31) ELISA Kit |
| Catalog No. | PAK-HMM-0029 |
| Description | Platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule (PECAM-1), also known as cluster of differentiation 31 (CD31), is a protein that is encoded by the PECAM1 gene found on chromosome 17q23.3.PECAM-1 plays a key role in the clearance of aging neutrophils from the body.PECAM-1 is a highly glycosylated protein, with a mass of approximately 130 kDa. |
| Test Species | Rat |
| Synonyms | CD31; EndoCAM; GPIIA'; PECA1 |
| Applications | This kit can detect PECAM1;CD31 in rat samples without significant cross-reactivity with its analogs. |
| Sample Type | Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. |
| Detection Methods | Sandwich ELISA |
| Sensitivity | 1.32 pg/mL |
| Detection Range | 3.12-200 pg/mL |
| Accuracy | The intraplate coefficient of variation is less than 10% and the interplate coefficient of variation is less than 10%. |
| Storage | 2-8°C |
| Shelf Life | 6 months |
| Detection Principle | The kit is based on double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). To the microtiter wells pre-coated with rat platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule 1 (PECAM1; CD31) capture antibody, add the sample, standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP enzyme conjugate sequentially, and then incubate and wash, and then develop the color with the substrate TMB, which is catalyzed by HRP to turn into blue, and then converted to final yellow by acid. TMB is converted to blue by peroxidase (HRP) and to final yellow by acid. The color is positively correlated with rat platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule 1 (PECAM1; CD31) in the samples. The absorbance (OD) is measured at 450 nm using an enzyme marker to calculate the sample concentration. |
