| Description | ADAMTS4 is an enzyme that is encoded by the ADAMTS4 gene. It is a member of the ADAMTS protein family. Members of this family have several distinct protein modules, including a prepeptide region, a metalloproteinase structural domain, a desmosomal protein-like structural domain, and a thromboxane type 1 (TS) motif. Individual members of this family vary in the number of C-terminal TS motifs, and some have unique C-terminal structural domains. The enzyme encoded by this gene lacks the C-terminal TS motif. |

| Detection Principle | This kit is an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) using a double-antibody sandwich method. To the microtiter wells pre-coated with human ADAM metallopeptidase-containing platelet-responsive protein 1 motif 4 (ADAMTS4) capture antibody, the sample, standard, biotin-labeled body, HRP enzyme conjugate are added sequentially, with warming and washing in the middle, and then the color is developed with the substrate TMB, which is converted to blue color catalyzed by the enzyme peroxidase (HRP), and converted to final yellow color under the action of acid . There is a positive correlation between the shade of color and human ADAM metallopeptidase containing platelet reactive protein 1 motif 4 (ADAMTS4) in the sample. The absorbance (OD value) is measured at 450 nm using an enzyme marker to calculate the sample concentration. |
