| Intended Use | For measurement of glycated hemoglobin in human blood. |
| Principle / Technology | Protease releases a glycated dipeptide from the N-terminus of the hemoglobin beta chain. Hemoglobin is measured at 480 nm. Fructosyl-peptide oxidase then produces hydrogen peroxide from the glycated dipeptide, and a peroxidase-coupled color reaction is measured at 660 nm to determine HbA1c before calculating HbA1c percentage. |
