Product Name C55P1 TaqMan Multiplex qPCR Master Mix (UDG Plus)
Catalog No. RESK-0098
Description The C55P1 TaqMan Multiplex qPCR Master Mix (UDG Plus) is a full premix real-time quantitative PCR reagent based on a next-generation antibody-based hot-start Taq DNA polymerase. The 2× mix contains both the reaction buffer and the enzyme blend, including Mg2+ and dNTPs, plus factors that suppress non-specific amplification and enhance multiplex amplification efficiency, enabling up to 4-plex reactions while maintaining primer efficiency. The product contains UDG and uses a dUTP/UDG carryover prevention system that effectively eliminates the risk of aerosol contamination from previous PCR products.
Intended Use Development of multiplex real-time qPCR assays, including full-premix formulations with primers and probes pre-added, for molecular diagnostic reagent development and research.
Principle / Technology Probe-based (TaqMan) real-time quantitative PCR using a next-generation antibody-modified hot-start Taq DNA polymerase. Polymerase activity is blocked at ambient temperature and activated by heat, minimizing non-specific amplification and primer-dimer formation. The incorporated dUTP/UDG anti-contamination system degrades uracil-bearing carryover amplicons before amplification, preventing aerosol-borne product contamination and reducing false positives.
Detection Method TaqMan probe-based real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR (qPCR).
Sample Type DNA templates.
Performance Range / Specifications Supports up to 4-plex qPCR reactions.
Supports advance pre-mixing of primers and probes into a full premix with strong stability.
Stable detection of low-concentration templates (down to Ct 37).
dUTP/UDG anti-contamination system effectively prevents aerosol contamination.
Sensitivity / LOD Stable detection of low-concentration templates at Ct 37.
Specificity The buffer contains factors that effectively suppress non-specific PCR amplification and factors that enhance amplification efficiency in multiplex qPCR, ensuring primer efficiency in up to 4-plex reactions.
Reaction Conditions / Protocol 2× full premix containing both buffer and enzymes; add primers, probes and template to set up the reaction. Compatible with primers/probes pre-mixed in advance.
Components / Formulation 2× master mix containing reaction buffer, antibody-based hot-start Taq DNA polymerase, Mg2+, dNTPs (with dUTP) and UDG enzyme.
Storage Conditions Store at -25 to -15°C.
Shelf Life 2 years when stored at -25 to -15°C.

Product Form 2× full premix (buffer and enzymes combined in a single solution).
Expiration Date / Stability Valid for 2 years when stored at -25 to -15°C.
Full premix with primers and probes shows no significant change in Ct values or fluorescence after 7 days at 37°C.
Stable after 15 freeze-thaw cycles (-20°C storage with slow thawing at room temperature), with no significant change in Ct values or fluorescence versus control.
Regulatory / Compliance For research use and in vitro diagnostic reagent development. Not for direct clinical diagnosis.
Compatibility Compatible with multiple real-time PCR platforms and reaction systems, across mainstream platforms.
Recommended Buffer System Ready-to-use 2× full premix containing Mg2+ and dNTPs; no additional buffer required.
Application Notes / Precautions The dUTP/UDG system requires an appropriate UDG digestion step in the cycling program; avoid amplicons lacking dUTP when carryover control is needed.

For research use only, not for clinical use.
