| Product Name | C222P6 Multiplex qPCR Mix (UDG Plus) |
| Catalog No. | RESK-0123 |
| Description | C222P6 Multiplex qPCR Mix (UDG Plus) is a real-time fluorescence qPCR master mix built on a new-generation antibody-based hot-start Taq DNA polymerase. The 2x premixed reagent contains the reaction buffer and enzyme mix, supplemented with factors that effectively suppress non-specific PCR amplification and factors that enhance amplification efficiency in multiplex qPCR reactions. It greatly reduces non-specific amplification while maintaining primer amplification efficiency, enabling multiplex detection. The mix is dedicated to DNA probe-based detection and is well suited for nucleic acid detection of African swine fever virus (ASFV). |
| Intended Use | Probe-based multiplex qPCR detection of DNA targets, in particular nucleic acid detection of African swine fever virus (ASFV). For research use. |
| Principle / Technology | Real-time quantitative PCR using an antibody-based hot-start Taq DNA polymerase, with an optimized buffer system containing enhancers for multiplex amplification and inhibitors of non-specific amplification. A dUTP/UDG carryover contamination control system is incorporated. |
| Detection Method | DNA probe-based real-time fluorescence qPCR (multiplex-capable). |
| Sample Type | Extracted DNA, e.g., African swine fever virus nucleic acid from real samples and positive controls. |
| Performance Range / Specifications | Dedicated master mix for DNA probe-based detection, suitable for ASFV nucleic acid detection. Supports pre-mixing of primers and probes in advance; performance remains stable after 7 days at 37 °C in fully premixed format. Supports fast cycling programs with a total detection time of 30 min or less. Incorporates a dUTP/UDG anti-contamination system that functions at room temperature, effectively preventing aerosol carryover contamination and ensuring result accuracy. |
| Sensitivity / LOD | Reliably detects low-concentration ASFV samples: real ASFV samples serially diluted 10-fold to Ct values of approximately 36-40 were detected across 8 replicates. |
| Specificity | Antibody hot-start chemistry plus non-specific amplification inhibitors greatly reduce non-specific PCR amplification; no non-specific signal was observed in 48 no-template control (NTC) wells in full-premix stability testing. |
| Reaction Conditions / Protocol | Probe-based qPCR using a 2x master mix; supports fast amplification programs with detection completed in 30 min or less. Primers and probes can be pre-mixed with the reagent in advance. |
| Components / Formulation | 2x master mix containing reaction buffer and enzyme mix Antibody-based hot-start Taq DNA polymerase dUTP/UDG carryover contamination control system Multiplex amplification enhancers and non-specific amplification inhibitors |
| Storage Conditions | Store at -25 °C to -15 °C. |
| Shelf Life | 1 year |
| Package Specifications | 50 T; 100 T; 1,000 T; 10,000 T |
| Product Form | 2x liquid master mix |
| Expiration Date / Stability | Stable for 1 year when stored at -25 °C to -15 °C. After pre-mixing with ASFV primers and probes, the fully premixed reagent shows no difference in amplification curve shape, Ct values, or detection rates after 7 days at 37 °C compared with reagent stored at -20 °C. |
| Compatibility | Compatible with real-time fluorescence (quantitative) PCR instruments. |
| Application Notes / Precautions | The dUTP/UDG system functions at room temperature to prevent aerosol carryover contamination; treat reactions with UDG before amplification as required. Primers and probes may be pre-mixed with the reagent in advance; the fully premixed reagent remains stable for 7 days at 37 °C. |
