Product Name Human Platelet Membrane Glycoprotein IV (GP-Ⅳ) ELISA Kit
Catalog No. PAK-HMM-0016
Description CD36, also known as platelet glycoprotein 4, fatty acid translocase, class B scavenger receptor member 3, and glycoprotein 88, IIIb, or IV are proteins encoded by the CD36 gene. The CD36 antigen is an integral membrane protein found on the surface of many cell types in vertebrates. It imports fatty acids intracellularly and is a member of the class B scavenger receptor family of cell surface proteins.
Test Species Human
Synonyms GP4; FAT; GP3B; GPIV; PASIV; SCARB3; GP88; GpIIIb; Glycoprotein IIIb; Collagen Type I Receptor; Thrombospondin Receptor; Fatty acid translocase
Applications The kit detects human GP-IV in samples without significant cross-reactivity with its analogs.
Sample Type Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids.
Detection Methods Sandwich ELISA
Sensitivity 0.46 ng/mL
Detection Range 1.56-100 ng/mL
Accuracy The intraplate coefficient of variation is less than 10% and the interplate coefficient of variation is less than 10%.
Storage 2-8°C
Shelf Life 6 months
Detection Principle The kit is based on enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) using double antibody sandwich method. To the microtiter wells pre-coated with human platelet membrane glycoprotein IV (GP-IV) capture antibody, the sample, standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP enzyme conjugate are added sequentially, and then warmed and washed, and then the color is developed with the substrate TMB, which is converted to blue by the catalysis of HRP, and then converted to the final yellow color by the action of acid. The shade of color is positively correlated with human platelet membrane glycoprotein IV (GP-IV) in the sample. The absorbance (OD value) is measured at 450nm with an enzyme marker to calculate the concentration of the sample.
