Product Name Mouse Beta-Thromboglobulin (β-TG) ELISA Kit
Catalog No. PAK-HMM-0035
Description β-Thrombocyclin (also known as β-platelet globulin) is a protein stored in platelet α-granules and released in large quantities upon platelet activation. It is a chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand7 and a chelator that is strongly attracted to fibroblasts and weakly attracted to neutrophils. β-Thrombocyclin is a stimulus for mitosis, extracellular matrix synthesis, glucose metabolism, and plasminogen activator synthesis in fibroblasts. It also influences the maturation of megakaryocytes, thereby helping to regulate platelet production.
Test Species Mouse
Synonyms Beta-Thromboglobulin
Applications The kit detects β-TG in mice without significant cross-reactivity with its analogs.
Sample Type Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids.
Detection Methods Sandwich ELISA
Sensitivity 3.42 pg/mL
Detection Range 7.81-500 pg/mL
Accuracy The intraplate coefficient of variation is less than 10% and the interplate coefficient of variation is less than 10%.
Storage 2-8°C
Shelf Life 6 months
Detection Principle This kit is based on double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). To the microtiter wells pre-coated with mouse β-thromboglobulin/β-thrombocyclin (β-TG) capture antibody, the sample, standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody and HRP enzyme conjugate are added sequentially, followed by incubation and washing, and then the color is developed with the substrate TMB, which is converted into blue color catalyzed by the enzyme peroxidase (HRP), and then converted into yellow color under the effect of acid. There is a positive correlation between the color and mouse β-platelet globulin/β-thrombocyclin (β-TG) in the sample. Absorbance (OD) is measured at 450 nm using an enzyme counter and the concentration is calculated.
