Product Name Rat Beta-Thromboglobulin (β-TG) ELISA Kit
Catalog No. PAK-HMM-0028
Description β-Thrombocyclin (also known as β-platelet globulin) is a protein stored in platelet α-granules and released in large quantities upon platelet activation. It is a chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand.7 It is also a chelator, which is highly attractive to fibroblasts and weak to neutrophils. β-Thrombocytoglobulin is a stimulus for mitosis, extracellular matrix synthesis, glucose metabolism, and plasminogen activator synthesis in fibroblasts. It also influences the maturation of megakaryocytes, thereby helping to regulate platelet production.
Test Species Rat
Synonyms Beta-Thromboglobulin
Applications The kit can detect β-TG in rat samples without significant cross-reactivity with its analogs.
Sample Type Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids.
Detection Methods Sandwich ELISA
Sensitivity 1.42 pg/mL
Detection Range 3.12-200 pg/mL
Accuracy The intraplate coefficient of variation is less than 10% and the interplate coefficient of variation is less than 10%.
Storage 2-8°C
Shelf Life 6 months
Detection Principle The kit is based on double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). To the microtiter wells pre-coated with rat β-platelet globulin; β-thrombocyclin (β-TG) capture antibody, add the sample, standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP enzyme conjugate sequentially, and then incubate and wash, and then develop the color of the substrate TMB, which will be converted into blue color catalyzed by HRP, and then converted into yellow color under the effect of acid. There is a positive correlation between the color and rat β-platelet globulin; β-thrombocyclin (β-TG) in the samples. Absorbance (OD) is measured at 450nm to calculate the concentration.
