| Product Name | Mouse Von Willebrand Factor Cleaving Protease (ADAMTS13) ELISA Kit |
| Catalog No. | PAK-HMM-0047 |
| Description | Vascular hemophilia factor cleavage protease, also known as ADAMTS13 (a disintegrin and metalloproteinase with a thrombospondin type 1 motif, member 13), is a zinc-containing metalloproteinase that cleaves von Willebrand factor (vWf), a large protein involved in blood clotting. It is secreted into the bloodstream and degrades large vWf multimers, reducing their activity. the ADAMTS13 gene maps to chromosome 9 (9q34). Genomically, ADAMTS13 shares many characteristics with the 19 members of the ADAMTS family, all of which have a protease structural domain (the part that performs the hydrolysis of proteins), an adjacent catabolic protein structural domain, and one or more thrombin structural domains.ADAMTS13 actually has eight thromboxane structural domains. It has no hydrophobic transmembrane structural domains, so it is not anchored to the cell membrane. |

| Detection Principle | The kit is based on double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). To the microtiter wells pre-coated with mouse metallopeptidase-containing platelet reactive protein 13 (ADAMTS13) capture antibody, the sample, standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody and HRP enzyme conjugate are added sequentially, followed by incubation and washing, and then the color is developed with the substrate TMB, which is converted into blue color catalyzed by the enzyme peroxidase (HRP), and then converted into yellow color under the effect of acid. There is a positive correlation between the color and the presence of mouse metallopeptidase-containing platelet reactive protein 13 (ADAMTS13) in the sample. The absorbance (OD) is measured at 450 nm using an enzyme meter and the concentration of the sample is calculated. |
