Product Name Mouse Platelet Derived Growth Factor Subunit A (PDGFA) ELISA Kit
Catalog No. PAK-HMM-0045
Description Platelet-derived growth factor A (PDGFA) is a protein that is encoded by the PDGFA gene. It is a member of the platelet-derived growth factor family. Four members of this family are mitogenic factors of mesenchymal cells and are characterized by an eight cysteine structure. The gene product can exist as a homodimer or as a heterodimer with the platelet-derived growth factor beta polypeptide, where the dimers are linked by disulfide bonds.
Test Species Mouse
Synonyms PDGF-A; PDGF1; Platelet Derived Growth Factor Alpha Polypeptide
Applications This kit detects PDGFA in mice in samples without significant cross-reactivity with its analogs.
Sample Type Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids.
Detection Methods Sandwich ELISA
Sensitivity 0.06 ng/mL
Detection Range 0.15-10 ng/mL
Accuracy The intraplate coefficient of variation is less than 10% and the interplate coefficient of variation is less than 10%.
Storage 2-8°C
Shelf Life 6 months
Detection Principle The kit is based on double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). To the microtiter wells pre-coated with mouse platelet-derived growth factor A (PDGFA) capture antibody, the sample, standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody and HRP enzyme conjugate are added sequentially, and then incubated and washed, and then the color is developed with the substrate TMB, which is catalyzed by HRP to turn into blue color, and then converted to yellow color by acid. The color is positively correlated with the amount of mouse platelet-derived growth factor A (PDGFA) in the sample. The absorbance (OD) is measured at 450nm by an enzyme marker and the concentration of the sample is calculated.
