| Description | Platelet reactive protein; thrombin-sensitive protein 1 (THBS1) is a protein encoded by the THBS1 gene . It is a subunit of a disulfide-linked homologous protein. It is a sticky glycoprotein that mediates cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions. It binds to fibrinogen, fibronectin, laminin, collagen types V and VII, and alpha-V/beta-1 integrins. It has been shown to play a role in platelet aggregation, angiogenesis and tumorigenesis. |

| Detection Principle | The kit is based on enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) using double antibody sandwich method. To the microtiter wells pre-coated with human platelet reactive protein; thrombin-sensitive protein 1 (THBS1) capture antibody, the sample, standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP enzyme conjugate are added sequentially, with warming and washing in the middle, and then the color is developed with the substrate TMB, which is converted to blue color catalyzed by the peroxidase (HRP), and then converted to the final yellow color under the action of acid. The shade of color is positively correlated with the human platelet reactive protein; thrombin-sensitive protein 1 (THBS1) in the sample. The absorbance (OD value) is measured at 450nm wavelength using an enzyme marker to calculate the sample concentration. |
