Product Name Human Beta-Thromboglobulin (β-TG) ELISA Kit
Catalog No. PAK-HMM-0002
Description β-Thrombocyclin (also known as β-platelet globulin) is a protein stored in platelet α-granules and released in large quantities upon platelet activation. It is a chemokine ligand.7 It is also a chelator and has a strong attraction to fibroblasts and a weaker attraction to neutrophils. β-Thrombocyclin is a stimulus for mitosis, extracellular matrix synthesis, glucose metabolism, and plasminogen activator synthesis in fibroblasts. It also influences the maturation of megakaryocytes, thereby helping to regulate platelet production.
Test Species Human
Synonyms Beta-Thromboglobulin
Applications The kit detects human β-TG in samples with no significant cross-reactivity with its analogs.
Sample Type Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids.
Detection Methods Sandwich ELISA
Sensitivity 0.155 ng/mL
Detection Range 0.312-20 ng/mL
Accuracy The intraplate coefficient of variation is less than 10% and the interplate coefficient of variation is less than 10%.
Storage 2-8°C
Shelf Life 6 months
Detection Principle This kit is an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) using a double-antibody sandwich method. To the microtiter wells pre-coated with human β-platelet globulin; β-thrombocyclin (β-TG) capture antibody, the sample, standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP enzyme conjugate are added sequentially, with warming and washing in the middle, and then the color is developed with the substrate TMB, which is converted into blue color catalyzed by the enzyme peroxidase (HRP), and then converted into the final yellow color under the action of acid. There is a positive correlation between the shade of color and human β-platelet globulin; β-thrombocyclin (β-TG) in the samples. The absorbance (OD value) is measured at 450nm wavelength with an enzyme marker to calculate the sample concentration.
