| Product Name | XmnI Restriction Endonuclease (10 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0535 |
| Description | A type IIP restriction enzyme from Xanthomonas manihotis purified after recombinant expression in E. coli, XmnI recognises and cuts 5 prime GAANN^NNTTC 3 prime to give blunt ended products. The enzyme performs best with tight star activity control in its dedicated Cut Buffer C, and it is compatible with the shared rapid series buffer for convenient double digestion with other enzymes, although prolonged digestion should be avoided to prevent star activity. Heat inactivation is achieved at 80°C for 20 minutes. |
| Intended Use | DNA fragment preparation and double digestion for molecular cloning |
| Principle / Technology | Site specific blunt cleavage at 5 prime GAANN^NNTTC 3 prime in dedicated or shared buffer |
| Sample Type | Double stranded DNA containing GAANN NNTTC sites |
| Specificity | Blunt end output; best star activity control in Cut Buffer C |
| Reaction Conditions / Protocol | Digest in 1x Cut Buffer C at 37°C; heat inactivate at 80°C for 20 minutes |
| Storage Conditions | -25 to -15°C |
