| Product Name | XcmI Rapid Restriction Endonuclease (5 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0486 |
| Description | Recognising 5 prime CCA(N)5^(N)4TGG 3 prime, this rapid recombinant endonuclease cuts within a long asymmetric spacer and serves vector construction, plasmid linearisation and general DNA digestion. It is supplied at 5 U/uL, processes plasmid DNA, PCR products and genomic DNA within 5 to 15 minutes at an optimal 37°C and is heat inactivated at 80°C for 20 minutes. Dam, Dcm, CpG, EcoKI and EcoBI methylation all leave cutting unaffected. |
| Intended Use | Molecular cloning, vector construction and plasmid linearisation with rapid DNA digestion |
| Principle / Technology | Site specific cleavage within the spacer of 5 prime CCA(N)5^(N)4TGG 3 prime at 37°C |
| Sample Type | Plasmid DNA; PCR products; genomic DNA |
| Specificity | Unaffected by Dam, Dcm, CpG, EcoKI and EcoBI methylation |
| Reaction Conditions / Protocol | Digest in 1x rapid restriction buffer at 37°C for 5 to 15 minutes; heat inactivate at 80°C for 20 minutes |
