| Product Name | Vaccinia Capping Enzyme for mRNA 5′ Capping and End Labelling (Research Grade) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0349 |
| Description | The same D1 and D12 subunit vaccinia virus enzyme supplied here for research applications: it combines RNA triphosphatase, guanylyltransferase and guanine methyltransferase activities to build the m7Gppp cap on RNA 5′ ends. With capping buffer, GTP and SAM present, RNA is capped in the correct direction within an hour, and the enzyme also supports 5′ end labelling of RNA. Supplied as a sterile liquid for translation-priming or labelling workflows. |
| Intended Use | mRNA capping before in vivo or in vitro translation; 5′ end labelling of RNA transcripts; cap structure formation for mRNA research. |
| Specificity | D1 and D12 subunits; three coupled capping activities; optimal temperature 37 °C |
| Storage Conditions | -25 °C to -15 °C |
| Shelf Life | 12 months |
| Package Specifications | 500 U, 2000 U, 10000 U and 500 KU packs |
