| Usage | The subject should be tested on an empty stomach or at least two hours after eating. Swallow one 14C-urea capsule with approximately 20 mL of cool drinking water. Wait for about 25 minutes (avoid strenuous activity). Open the gas collection bottle cap and insert the narrow end of the blowing tube below the liquid surface. The subject should blow into the gas collection bottle with moderate, steady force. Breathing may resume during blowing, but sucking back is strictly prohibited. Avoid splashing liquid or blowing saliva into the collection bottle. Blow for approximately 1-3 minutes. Stop blowing when the collection reagent changes from purple-red to colorless. If discoloration is incomplete after 3 minutes, stop blowing, secure the cap, and dispose of the single-use tube at the designated location. Hand the collection reagent bottle to a professional and await test results. |
