Description The Alta DiagnoTech hepatitis B virus drug-resistance mutation kit uses PCR followed by Sanger sequencing to analyze the HBV reverse-transcriptase region from positions 143-280. It covers more than 20 resistance-associated mutations linked to six nucleoside/nucleotide analogue drugs and can report resistance findings together with HBV genotype information.
