| Product Name | Uracil-Specific Excision Reagent (UDG and Endo VIII Mix, 1 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0434 |
| Description | This enzyme blend pairs uracil DNA glycosylase with DNA glycosylase-lyase Endo VIII to generate single nucleotide gaps at uracil positions in DNA. UDG excises the uracil base and leaves the phosphodiester backbone intact at an AP site, after which the Endo VIII lyase activity cleaves the phosphodiester bonds on both the 3 prime and 5 prime sides and releases the abasic deoxyribose. The reagent acts on ssDNA, dsDNA and circular DNA and is verified free of nuclease and RNase contamination with low host residue. Workflows built on it include strand specific RNA library construction, uracil-specific excision mediated ligation-free cloning, TALE repeat unit assembly and concatenation of multiple cDNAs for single cell transcriptome libraries. |
