| Product Name | Uracil-DNA Glycosylase (UNG), E.coli |
| Catalog No. | IEC-HMM-0041 |
| Applications | Uracil-DNA glycosylase specifically recognizes uracil residues in single- or double-stranded DNA and hydrolyzes them to release free uracil from DNA. It has no activity on RNA. This enzyme is primarily used to prevent contamination of PCR amplification products. |
| Source | Recombinant E.coli |
| Purity | >95% |
| Buffer | 20 mM Tris-HCl (pH8.0), 0.1 mM EDTA, 100 mM KCl, 1 mM DTT, 0.5% (v/v) Tween-20, 0.5% (v/v) NP-40, 50% (v/v) glycerol |
| Storage | -20°C |
| Instructions | 1. Uracil-DNA Glycosylase (UNG), E. coli exhibits 100% enzyme activity between 37°C and 50°C; recommended reaction time: 15–30 minutes; 2. Uracil-DNA Glycosylase (UNG), E. coli is inactivated at 95°C for 10 minutes; 3. It is recommended to add 0.1–5 U of Uracil-DNA Glycosylase (UNG), E. coli to a 50 μL PCR reaction mixture. |
