| Product Name | GMP-Grade Vaccinia Capping Enzyme for mRNA 5′ Capping (10 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0348 |
| Description | The vaccinia virus capping enzyme assembles the 5′ cap that stabilises mRNA and enables its export and translation. Carrying D1 and D12 subunits, the enzyme combines RNA triphosphatase, guanylyltransferase and guanine methyltransferase activities to attach the m7Gppp structure onto RNA 5′ ends in the correct orientation, finishing a capping reaction within an hour in the presence of capping buffer, GTP and SAM. Manufactured under GMP process requirements and supplied as a liquid. |
| Intended Use | 5′ capping of mRNA for vaccine and drug development; improvement of capping efficiency and product purity in mRNA manufacturing. |
| Specificity | D1 and D12 subunits; RNA triphosphatase, guanylyltransferase and guanine methyltransferase activities; optimal temperature 37 °C |
