| Product Name | Ultra-Low Residual Heat-Labile Uracil DNA Glycosylase (UDG/UNG) (1 U/uL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0576 |
| Description | A heat-labile uracil-DNA glycosylase that hydrolyses the N-glycosidic bond between uracil and the sugar-phosphate backbone of uracil-containing DNA, releasing free uracil. Unlike an ordinary UDG, the heat-labile enzyme leaves no residual activity that would attack dU-containing amplicons once inactivated, and this format is put through an ultra-low residual manufacturing process that holds E. coli host DNA below 0.1 copies per unit for pathogen detection and molecular diagnostics. The enzyme is fully inactivated by 10 minutes at 50°C, 5 minutes at 55°C or 5 minutes at 95°C, 0.05 U per reaction digests 100,000 copies of dU-DNA template, and 2 U in a 20 uL reaction does not inhibit RT-qPCR. Purity is at least 95% with no exonuclease, nickase or RNase residue. |
