| Product Name | Tte UvrD Helicase for Thermophilic Helicase-Dependent Amplification (20 ug/mL) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0513 |
| Description | A helicase from the thermophilic bacterium Thermoanaerobacter tengcongensis that unwinds double stranded DNA at high temperature and tolerates 65°C It can be applied in isothermal amplification without requiring a single-strand binding protein, and in thermophilic helicase-dependent amplification it unwinds the duplex for the polymerase so amplification proceeds isothermally. In LAMP systems the enzyme eliminates non-specific amplification without affecting detection of positive samples, which improves assay specificity. |
| Intended Use | Isothermal amplification, thermophilic helicase-dependent amplification and removal of non-specific amplification in LAMP |
| Principle / Technology | Heat tolerant unwinding of double stranded DNA to support polymerase-driven isothermal amplification |
| Sample Type | Double stranded DNA substrates in isothermal amplification mixes |
| Specificity | Tolerates 65°C; functions without a single-strand binding protein |
| Reaction Conditions / Protocol | Add to the amplification mix and run the tHDA or LAMP programme at the recommended temperature |
| Storage Conditions | -25 to -15°C |
| Shelf Life | 2 years |
| Package Specifications | 2 ug; 10 ug |
| Key Features | Unwinds duplex DNA at high temperature; improves LAMP specificity without affecting positive detection |
