| Product Name | ThermoSalt RNA Ligase 2, Thermostable and Salt-Tolerant (70 uM) |
| Catalog No. | IVDRM-0580 |
| Description | An engineered double-stranded RNA ligase that efficiently joins RNA strands in both intermolecular and intramolecular reactions when ATP is present. Compared with conventional T4 RNA Ligase 2 it combines two unusual tolerances, keeping more than 90% of its ligation activity at 70°C and over 50% of activity in 300 mM NaCl, so it copes with complex samples and demanding reaction conditions. Supplied at 70 uM with at least 95% purity and a His tag, it runs for one hour between 25 and 80°C and is stopped by 2 mM or more EDTA. |
| Intended Use | RNA ligation in complex samples and under high temperature or high salt conditions |
| Principle / Technology | ATP-dependent catalysis of intermolecular and intramolecular RNA strand joining |
| Sample Type | RNA substrates in complex or high salt reaction systems |
| Reaction Conditions / Protocol | Incubate at 25 to 80°C for 1 hour and stop the reaction with 2 mM or more EDTA |
| Storage Conditions | -25 to -15°C |
| Shelf Life | 2 years |
| Package Specifications | 2000 pmol |
